LENT 2026
Lent begins February 18. We will gather for worship and the imposition of ashes here at the church at 7:00 pm. This service will also mark the beginning of our Lenten Midweek services (Feb 18-March 25). We will be looking at Philippians 2:5-11 (Feb 25-March 18) and concluding our series with a healing service with anointing with oil (March 25).
HYMN SING
Got a favorite hymn? Tell us! Phone. Email. Hallway ambush. Carrier pigeon. We’re not picky. Hallelujahs welcome. Need inspiration? Check out the red and blue hymnbooks at church.
GOOD FRIDAY CHOIR PRACTICE
The choir will be singing at our Good Friday service, and we would love for you to join us. Rehearsals will take place every Wednesday following the Lenten service and will last about 30–45 minutes. Whether you’ve sung for years or just love to worship through music, everyone is welcome. Come join us!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Pastor Tim seeks 7 volunteers to read Scripture passages on Good Friday (April 3). Please speak with him or reach out to Tanisha at the office if you are interested.
FRIENDLY REMINDER:
Pastor Tim will never contact anyone asking for gift cards or money by text. If you get a message like that, it’s a SCAM – please ignore it and let us know!
SUNDAY SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS WANTED
Sunday School is starting up again in September, and we’d love to grow our volunteer team! If you have a heart for kids and a little time to spare, this is a great way to serve.
Contact Cory Funk at 204-392-8293 to sign up!
YOUTH VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
It has been another great year for the Junior and Senior Youth. We provide a setting where youth learn, grow in their faith, are encouraged, and have fun. As our numbers have increased, and so we can continue to flourish, additional adult volunteers are required. Please contact Parish Assistant Steve for more information.
